This book was fantastic! It's all about second chances. If Piper let's Sasha back into her life, will he make the same mistake twice? I loves the storyline, it was great! This book was really well written, and I fell in love with Piper. The scenes were described as to make you feel like you were in the story. Overall, I would have to give this book 5 out of 5 book-a-saur paws.

My heart sped up thinking of the nights we’d spent together. Alone with him, I’d been in heaven, utterly lost to the world. Loving the way his fingertips had softly slid down my skin and sent goose bumps flaring throughout my body, it was searing and his scent, intoxicating. How do you get over someone like that? Especially after the day he turned me into a shadow in his midst, left in the cold, alone. It was no different than throwing me under the bus. At the time, it had left me empty, a hollowed mess that I had been left to clear away, bit by painful bit.
But I wasn’t eighteen anymore and definitely not that fragile, naïve and trusting girl I’d once been.

I was panting, breathless and flushed from head to toe as I watched Logan so intimately as he took bites out of Georgia's neck like a man starved. I shouldn't be watching, this was so wrong. But why did it feel so right?

Sparks exploded through my body as I watched the nakedness of Logan's back muscles came into view as Georgia raked her perfectly polished nails down his beautifully sculptured back, goosebumps covered every inch of my body as I watched each individual muscle contract under her nails. Every muscle in my body clenched deliciously, I just couldn't look away this was so wrong I should be repulsed, I should want to go and rip that skank from Logan and kick the crap out of her, I should stop. NOW!

Sweet Serendipity by Jenna Pizzi - Review

 Title: Sweet Serendipity

Author: Jenna Pizzi

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Tour Host: Lady Amber's Tours

Sweet Serendipity was a wonderful book. I love how the title has to do with my favorite part! I've always had a thing for artists, and I love that Ethan created a gallery just for Becca. The book starts out on a sad note; Becca finds out her husband is cheating on her. I honestly find this part really sad. The further you went into the story, the more you learned about their relationship and their family. I enjoyed how we slowly learned more and more about each and every one of the characters. The book made you feel genuine emotions for the difficulties and gains that they went through. IF you are looking for a realistic romance, this is definitely the book to read. Jenna Pizzi did a wonderful job! I give this book 5 out of 5 book-a-saur paws!

Sometimes you need to let go of the past in order to open your heart to love again.

Not every marriage is perfect. Rebecca knew she’d have to make some sacrifices. What she didn’t realize is that it would cost her, her heart. After nearly twenty years of marriage and one heart break after another, will she find the strength to let go and move on? Will she allow herself to love again?
Rebecca lived everyday with the same routine of caring for the kids, the house, and her husband Jack. Until one night she finds Jack with another woman, and Rebecca’s world falls apart. With the encouragement of her two closest friends, Rebecca realizes that she can find the happiness she deserves.
Ethan is an artist who lost his will to paint. When he meets Rebecca, he once again finds the inspirations he had been longing for. He knows that she has built walls around her, but he’s determined to break them down brick by brick to prove to her that she is worthy of being loved.
This is a heartwarming story of friendship, love, and overcoming tragedy to find that there is always a new beginning.

Thank you for today, Becky. It means a lot that you came with us.”
“I didn’t have much choice, Jack. Adam damn near had a nervous breakdown. I’d appreciate it if you’d have a talk with him and tell him that even if we’re not together, we still love him.”
“Becky, you’ve got to know that it’s his enthusiasm that keeps me going. If he still believes that we can work it out, then I believe that we can work it out. Do you understand? As long as he has hope, then so don’t I,” Jack told her.
She turned sideways and looked into his grey eyes. “Jack, we had our chance and it didn’t work. You chose comfort in someone else’s arms. I know that after all this time, it’s hard to imagine a life without us together, but I think you need to realize that is exactly where we are headed. I loved you, Jack. Somewhere along the way the love stopped. Somewhere I stopped being the person you came to for talking, and sharing, and  laughing. We were broken before Brian died. His senseless death was just the final straw. I lost myself somewhere along the way. I stopped caring enough about myself to realize
how damaged we really were. I surrounded myself with the kids and you with your job. It hasn’t been a marriage in a very long time. The kids will be grown soon, and what will we have left?”
Jack reached for her hand. “We’d have a new beginning. We’d have a chance to rediscover why we fell in love in the first place. We could travel; I could build that koi pond I always promised. We could have another baby.”
Rebecca laughed.
“I seriously hope you are joking. How is it that you go from where we are now to having a baby?”
“I have made many mistakes, but those kids are the only thing that I have done right. I’d be a better father, a better husband. You can’t tell me that you don’t look at Layla Grace and wish you had another one?”
“Everyone loves babies. It doesn’t mean that you and I having another one will fix us. I don’t know if I could ever trust you again.”
“How do you think I feel? Knowing your best friend works a few doors down from the man you’ve been having a fling with.”
“It’s more than a fling, Jack. He’s talking future plans.”
Jack downed his glass of wine and stood up.
“Then where is he?”
“He left town.”
“Ha. Why? He couldn’t handle the heat of competition?”

Rebecca stood up.
“That’s just the thing, Jack. To you, it’s a competition. I think the only reason you are even trying to do this is because you know someone else has feelings for me. If I wasn’t seeing someone, you’d still be running around with someone like Amber.”
He stood only inches from her, pulled up his sleeve, and pointed to his shoulder. What does each and every tattoo on my body represent? I have how we met and our first date. I have our wedding and the birth of the kids. Each tattoo flows into the next. It wouldn’t make much sense to someone else, but with you, you know each and every picture. You know what each one represents. It is our story; the story of us. I still have plenty of room to keep going. I don’t want our story to stop. I want to tell our grandkids our stories someday.”
Rebecca started to cry. His words were cutting deep. He was telling her all the things that she wished he would have told her when it mattered the most. Jack got down on one knee. He held her hand in his and looked deep into her chocolate eyes.
“I have loved you for almost two decades, Becky. We were bound to hit a few snags along the way, but we can only learn to grow from our mistakes. I realize that you are the only one for me. I will never love anyone the way I love you. You are
my past, present, and future. You are my heart and my soul. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Marry me, again.” A tear fell from the corner of his eye. She felt as though she were going to pass out. She never imagined that he’d be sitting here now,
doing this.
Her tears were not tears of happiness, but tears of the past, tears of the years she had felt neglected and alone. They were tears for the years she had woken with the crying babies while he couldn’t be bothered. She cried for the years she felt like a single parent

because his work always took top priority to him. She cried for all the empty holidays when it felt as though he never wanted to be there. She fell to her seat and held her head in her hands.

Hey everyone. How are you? I haven't made a post like this in AGES!!! I just wanted to thank everyone who has followed or ever read my blog. It really means a lot to me, and a lot of authors appreciate it too. Starting August, I will no longer be posting for Blog Tours. I need to start focusing on my own TBR list, so I can get it down from 112. Yeah, I have 112 books on hold at the moment! How crazy is that?

I have about 23 more blog tours for July, and after that, I will start posting more like updates, and reviews. If I get more reviews, I might also start posting Review Teasers (Cover of a book I will review tomorrow, so you know and tune in if you are interested in the review.).

The only problem with that is that I need enough followers for that to work. So I am asking you to PLEASE share this blog, and tell your friends to follow in any way possible! I really love sharing my reviews with all of you, and I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank all of you so much for the never ending support, and I hope that all of you are having a great day.

Chapter One Ye Olde England
“Oh, Mr Boswel,” Anna sighed awkwardly, biting her bottom lip as he gazed seductively into her eyes. She placed her small-gloved hand into his and he smiled, but no words passed between them. The heady concerto played by the musicians faded into insignificance, the guests and all their formalities forgotten in the moment. He led her into an open hallway towards the larger of two grand staircases. She could hardly breathe. His dark-brown eyes were hypnotic and with every gaze they burned into hers. His jet-black hair fell in soft waves around his shoulders, while small curls drifted onto his forehead, which he had a habit of flicking back to reveal his face. And oh, what a face, with his chiselled jawline, high cheekbones and overly full lips, perfect traits complemented by a rich olive skin tone and pretty, near perfect complexion.
Anna had waited so long for this moment. She felt her legs trembling beneath her, hoping upon hope that they wouldn’t give way. Upon reaching the first floor, guilt descended upon her. She knew what she was about to embark on was wrong and that she’d be judged, but on second glance down the stairs, across the hall and through the arched doorway, she saw that those in attendance at the masquerade ball danced on and drank merrily, oblivious to their departure.
She wasn’t allowed to linger for long, as Mr Boswel’s firm grip pulled her slightly off balance and she stumbled wearily. Aware that the hour was late, her gaze wandered briefly before coming to rest on the ornate grandfather clock in its regal attire, situated equidistantly between the two staircases, both hands sitting comfortably on the number one.
Mr Boswel’s eyes held a warm reassurance as he led her across the landing towards a large oak door. “After you, madam,” he gestured, opening the door.
“Thank y’ sir,” she uttered nervously.
Why me? Anna thought to herself as her conscience juggled with reality, still questioning why he had given her the time of day. With his good looks and his status, he really could have anybody he desired. On close inspection, Anna knew she was anything but beautiful; even as a child, her mother referred to her as plain. It wasn’t that she had a bad face, just not an overly pretty one; her eyes perhaps too small, their colour quite insignificant – somewhere between light blue and grey – and strawberry-blonde hair scraped back rather severely in a bun. There wasn’t anything dynamic about her features either; even her nose had a slight tilt to the left – a flaw nobody else would have picked up on.
Then the door closed behind them and they were alone at last, away from unwanted roving eyes. It was a moment she’d longed for, for what seemed like an eternity.
She found herself in a large bedchamber, a four-poster bed made from a deep rich wood taking centre stage, its precise carvings inlaid with gold leaf in large spirals. Warm red silk drapes, not quite scarlet, perhaps a shade or two deeper complemented the bed. The room exuded wealth, with its deep-mahogany furnishings, high walls and numerous gilt edged portraits.
Anna felt lost in her new surroundings.
“Well, Anna…”
She jumped, and her eyes were drawn once again towards the handsome Mr Boswel, who had already removed his shoes and was now reclined on the bed, propped up by two thick cotton bolsters. His long taupe waistcoat was draped untidily over a padded-back chair, and she watched tentatively as he started unbuttoning his linen shirt to reveal a toned physique.
“Join me,” he murmured, his voice soft and inviting.
Her heart was beating so heavily in her chest as she made her way over to the bed that she was sure he’d be able to hear. She was even tempted to hold her breath. He leaned his body forward towards hers as she sat nervously on the edge of the bed. She knew he was going to take her, and although she felt way out of her depth, she wanted him so very badly. He smelt so fine, his broad chest brushing against her arm; she could feel the soft hairs between his nipples, and then their hardness.
She was burning inside as he ran his fingers longingly over her body. She felt his breath, then his lips, tenderly at first as they began caressing the nape of her neck, and then with an urgency, a hunger, the tenderness turned to lust. Their lips met for the first time and he pulled her body roughly onto his, quickly loosening the bodice of her gown and starting to untie the lacings of her corset…
“Anna,” he whispered, a husky lilt to his voice.
“Mr Boswel…” were the only words to leave her lips as they lay lost in the moment, wrapped in each other’s arms.
“Stay here with me tonight.”
“Sir, I’ll be tellin’ y’, I’m betrothed to another,” Anna replied, shedding tears of guilt while darting around the room, recovering her garments.
Mr Boswel sighed. “An unfortunate predicament in which you find yourself, my dear,” he said, lifting himself slightly and leaning the weight of his body on his elbows, looking at her earnestly while she dressed.
“Mr Boswel, yer reputation precedes ye.”
“Perhaps, Anna, but they are just empty conquests.”
“All but one, sir.” Anna paused, awaiting his response, but the words she longed for were not forthcoming.
“This I cannot deny, but I would be grateful if you were not to mention her name. She is now but a ghost from my past.”
“I must take yer leave, sir. I’ll be missed.” Fear grew in her voice. “Mr Boswel, I ain’t gonna live a life with ye as me guilty secret.”
“Well, Anna, that’s all I have to offer you. At this present time you must be patient… I…”
Anna interrupted him before he could continue. “Please, sir, I beg of ye, say no more. I think it best I bid ye farewell.”

With that, she walked out of the room and out of his life, sure that he was watching until she closed the door.
